Chances it turns into a humongous crawfish pot if it lands in Louisiana?

We'll have to wait until it hits for anything to be flat.

Figuring out the final momentum and resultant impulse would be easy enough... but what about the final mass? Anyone trying to figure out how much is going to burn up on its way down
I'd assume you'd need to know it's angle of reentry and speed of reentry, but I'm no rocket scientist

its going to hit the Horace Wilkinson bridge

No one will be injured in the direct crash, however traffic caused by onlookers will lead to +/- 11 accidents with 2 or more fatalities due to cell phone usage. The repairs to the basin/bridge will never be done in time.

IIRC there's a fairly narrow angle for satellites to come in and not burn up in the atmosphere, too shallow and it bounces off, too deep and it burns up...

But that leads us back to how much is going to be left- which depends on the angle .
