It appears some non downs photographer recreated these paintings, with downs kids as subjects. Huge difference from downs kids recreating famous paintings.

Iceland?

They just hide it by aborting nearly 100% of them and act like it's eradicating the syndrome not the babies.

Well sometimes the Downs make you go sides way sometimes it makes you go slanted. The trick is to not cross your eyes.

When I was growing up, there was a kid at daycare named Tommy who had Downs. My school board didn't have a separate school for special ed kids, so they kept all the kids of the same age groups in the same school, so Tommy and I were always in the same school, rode the same buses, etc. He really was the sweetest kid, but not the most gentle. He liked hugs and he had retard strength.

I suspect that people who say things like "you hurt those you love the most" know Tommy.

That shite was [NUMBER REDACTED] years ago, and he still remembers me. He's a bagger at the grocery store in my hometown and if I have to go to the store when I'm visiting my parents, I'm gonna be nursing cracked ribs. I can understand why you wouldn't want that.

Also, we can't have a Downs thread without...

While I admit the Manet is a little more obscure Renoir's "The Dancer" is one of the more recognizable examples of female portraiture and paintings in general.
