My parents allowed me not to eat
But I couldn’t eat anything else either so it was either finish your food or starve

Let him go a night without eating and those pork chops will taste better than any chicken nuggets he's ever had.
Lol, no. He wakes up and then goes to school where he eats, and likes, the shite they serve. Cereal, fruit, salad, pizza, etc...
Such a tough lesson.

For new parents it might be hard at first but those parents must lay the law down before it gets out of hand. I’ve been there and done that but my kids now know that they’ll eat what’s provided or go hungry. It’s my job to provide you with food, shelter and all the other crap I didn’t have as a kid and we do it with a smile on our faces but if the kids are foolish enough to go hungry then that’s on them and I don’t feel guilty at all.

I won’t force my kid to finish his plate. He/she can stop when full.
However, they will eat what we give them and if they don’t like it they can go hungry.

I think it's a move just to keep the kid quiet. To avoid having to parent, it's likely the same kid is being plopped down in front of a TV or with a screen in their hand. Some parents are simply lazy. Very very lazy.

If all they'll eat is fried chicken that's the parents fault for letting them eat that shite so often.
My kid would eat boiled shrimp, steak and smoked salmon at that age.

When you become a parent then you can start “why don’t parents....” threads.

For a 4 year old I tend to agree but when they are younger, still drinking tons of milk, it means they'll be up all night crying and drinking milk if they don't eat "dinner" so it is very understandable to give them what they want at that time.
But won't this likely result in a 4 year old that only wants chicken nuggets and weenies slightly browned on one edge, cut into five exactly equal segments?

I have a step nephew that only eats unhealthy foods. He’s also allowed to wear headphones and watch videos at the dinner table. This bothers me more than anything. The kid is 10. He should be able to eat a meal and have conversation.
I have a cousin who’s a year younger than me. When we were younger, he came camping with my family and my dad grilled t-bones over an open flame for everyone. He wanted my mom to go to the store and get corn dogs. He didn’t eat that night, but the next morning ate steak and eggs like he’d been famished for years.

Oh, so you live in a world where you only criticize people that have experienced the subject matter? How’s that working for you?
Don’t criticize the President unless you’ve been the President.
Don’t criticize Coach O unless you’ve been the head football coach at LSU.
Do you realize how stupid that sounds? No wonder why you’re a shitty parent. You’re a retard.

So you agree with the Pecker?
And I’m assuming you’re not a parent either.
Or at least I hope you’re not.

We made an exception for my son. He was ALWAYS skinny. I swear you'd think we weren't feeding him at all. I joked all the time that if he woke me up at 3AM and wanted a milkshake that I'd get up and get him one.

So then you just leave them wailing all night in the darkness? Ok good luck on keeping your marriage and family together.

My son didn't want his breakfast this morning and cried about it. I told him that was his breakfast.
By the time I shite, showered, shaved and the rest of the morning routine an hour later, he had eaten it.

You definitely don’t want to give your kid chicken nuggets every night, but you don’t want to be the “eat this asparagus and grass-fed steak every day or starve” hard-arse either.
There’s some middle ground to be had. Let the kid have McDs every once in a while, just don’t let them dictate what they eat all the time.

That is an absolutely asinine take. You speak about shite you've never done or experienced all day long, we all do. If your take were the case noone could talk about anything.
Here's a thread you made about something you've never done you fricking idiot
