Nope. I’ve got nieces and nephews that are fun to hang out with but they go home at the end of the day.

What’s going on right now is a direct result of shitty parents. Have children, fill your life with the purest form of joy possible, and be an involved & loving parent. Teach them right from wrong and let them fail when they don’t listen. Comfort them after they fail and explain how to not repeat their failure next time. Show them you’re there to be their rock.
It’s not difficult but you will frick up many times. Just make sure you don’t more often than you do. You won’t regret it.

No kids here. Wasn't really planned, just the way life ended up. Wife never really pushed for kids, and neither did I, and we spent most of our 30s apart while I was deployed overseas. By the time I was home and out of the military, that ship had sailed.

We are roughly the same age.
I don't want any more at this point but I don't regret having kids at all.

Same here. My wife and I both work full time in very demanding jobs with little down time. Plus she is a medical resident, so she’s always maintained that she does not want to start thinking about kids at least until she finishes (in about 3 years). I’ve got a lot of growing up to do before I can be a father as well

It’s easy to not regret something you have no clue about. If you ever have kids you will feel stupid for not having them sooner. 100% guaranteed.

I do regret it for several reasons, including the ending of my family name with me. However, when I married I knew my wife didn't want children, so I didn't walk into it blind.
We did have a pregnancy that ended in the 4th month, and were too despondent to try again because of age.
But, the world is a lunatic place today, so in that sense, I'm glad I don't have to worry about my kids and how their future will look.

My wife and I are almost fifty, the child rearing years are well behind us. Her one child is grown and gone, we're in dink territory now. Absolutely no regrets for us.
