Wonder how her and her supporters felt about the bakery that wouldn’t bake a cake for a gay wedding that was harassed nonstop

I legitimately think there are some people who have gender dysphoria, though the real numbers are being exaggerated due to fad.. Adults can do what adults want to do.
But why is the emphasis on children? I cannot figure out a legit reason for this emphasis on "trans youth."
As long as it doesn't adversely impact me or my family, I'm a live and let live kind of guy but this emphasis on drag shows for children is way out of bounds. What in the world is a 6 year old child supposed to think about what they're seeing? I couldn't even begin to explain it to them.
It's a misguided attempt to normalize behavior engaged by a minuscule percentage of the population. Pushing this agenda on children far too young to understand will continue to backfire on the advocates, as it should.
Adults may do as they wish; children including teenagers go through far too many emotional changes as it is before they mature. Counsel those legitimately confused about their gender, and delay any medical treatment until they're an adult capable of understanding the life long consequences.
But keep it away from kids too young to understand why the guy with a beard is dressed and acting like a woman.

Jordan Peterson has been saying that the trans activists are some of the most active, behind the scenes, activists out there. Considering the small percentage of actual trans in society, the "noise" they make is almost "deafening". He also says that the medical profession in general is silently backing this attack on children because of the huge amounts of money involved in trans treatments. The AMA has come out in support of the whole trans movement.

Here is the reason they are starting here. If society accepts that any age child can change their gender then it will be easier to get society to accept that children of any age can also decide who to love and have sex with no matter the age. Another reason is there will always be a endless supply of children to make massive profit off of.
By 2030 we'll see a push from mainstream Democrats to decriminalize statutory rape.

Lake in the Hills is WAAAAYYY out there. Basically where suburbs turn to farm fields. We’re not talking Boys Town here.

I keep seeing this sentiment - but it is short sighted.
how about we put open latrines down the middle of sidewalks?? - could put deodorant in there and grills so you don't fall in -
just ignore the squatters and long-pissers - they are not impacting you are your family - just walk right on by.
and let folks do their sex right on the street. nothing wrrong with that - right - their own bidnez - let em have they fun - not hurting you are your family - right??
or how about we allow cannibals to put on demonstrations of their cuisine at open air sidewalk shoppes - assuming there are enough people who donate their remains to be cadavers for this important research for those who are dedicated to improving their art.
At some point - we as a developing civilization collectively set forth some rules of polite society that has stood us well - with very minor adjustments over the millennia.
Trying to upend it all based on momentary impulses from non-serious people just looking for a 'reason' for their sad lives is not a very good template for a future our progeny can be proud of.
decency and character are important.

Sounds like she should have taken a business class or two and left the drag show shite to her off time.

Who puts everything, including your house and vehicles, on the line for a fricking bakery?

Ask not why your children need to spend time with drag queens.
Ask why drag queens are so keen to spend time with your children

Closing our doors is the direct result of the horrific attacks, endless harassment, and unrelenting negative misinformation about our establishment in the last eight months
“Won’t shop there” and being bullied and harassed into closing just for having a drag show is burying the real story. This is pretty fricked up.

Projection much?
How you decided I'm ok with people shitting or fricking in the streets is beyond me. The rest of your diatribe directed at this one comment, taken out of context while ignoring the rest, is pure nonsense.
May I suggest you become familiar with Burkean traditionalism? It's a more elegant foundational thesis than what you failed to attribute to my thoughts. And, one I've long believed.
Perhaps you believe that your perspective of the human condition is the only valid one. In which case...
Good luck.

After reading the story it sounds like the business wasn’t viable to begin with. Then you add in the frick-around-found-out and it ended sooner.
If you’re a bakery, bake shite. I’m not trying to buy a loaf of sourdough from a strip club. Nor am I looking to see a a dick tucked in buns when I’m trying to buy some nice buns for my burgers.
