I would think that the passengers were sweating more than the pilot there at least he has control of the situation and has trained for something like this.

Had to do a go around at BTR in really bad weather once. It was way worse the second go round too. My palms were soaked

Did a touch and go in Denver once... plane landed but the brakes didn't engage, so he just took off the other side and came back in on a longer emergency runway.

If anything, this reinforces my trust in the ability of commercial aircraft and commercial pilots. I like seeing their capabilities in action

This happened to me on Korean Air trying to land in Houston in a violent rainstorm. Front wheel, starboard wheel touch, pilot gunned the engines—I mean roaring—we circled for 30 more mins before landing for good.

Did another at SFO. Almost touched down but there was another plane on the runway. Felt like we went damn near vertical
