787 wings are meant to flex like that in flight but that’s insane.

No one seemed too concerned, but we didn't do any weird jerking or diving, it was in good weather, just the brakes didn't engage and the pilot wasn't sure he had enough runway to coast. He was on quickly and just said matter of factly that the brakes didn't engage so we were going to make a loop and come back in on a longer runway.
Also had a flight into Chicago where maybe 50' off the ground the pilot pulled up and hard to the right. Came on real quick and said that there was a plane on the runway, so we were going to try that again.

My first time landing on a carrier we missed the wire on our first attempt, went off the deck and dropped a bit then gained altitude and circled back.
Scared the shite out of me, but happens all the time on the ship. Probably easier in an F18 vs a damn prop plane like I was on

I experienced two consecutive aborted landings on a United flight from Houston to Baton Rouge in a howling, very localized thunderstorm that seemed to hover right over the runway. We arrived safely on the third try. Unpleasant.

Calm down there Bear Grilles. If the plane goes down, there is a very slim chance you're gonna make it out alive, regardless if you drink your own piss or not

about 2 years ago I had a touch in go flying into Austin, it was the most terrifying thing Ive ever experienced when the pilot had to bank to restart the new landing path
