I write for a paper and my editor told everyone to prep for a Hillary front page today. She's from Cali and is as left as can be.

Needless to say, every chick up here is in total shock. Two women I work with Un-enrolled their kids from school. The melt is real.

I'm in Texas FWIW

Well, Democrats like their voters nice and stupid, so it all works out.

Black co-worker: "Good morning, T. How are you?"

Me: "I'm ok" (as I normally respond)

Her: "Aww, you must've voted for Trump"

Wow...

You should tell her some people have been around too long to celebrate/mourn an election result.

There was some talk about the lines at the polls, otherwise we haven't spoken about it. Normal day. Then again we're professionals.

Almost a third of Hispanics voted for Trump. It's blacks that are the most disappointed by Hillary's loss.

The one black guy here voted trump. The lady from new York is pissed either of them were allowed to run.

I'm sipping hot tea and nursing a headache from so much 'MURICA.

Early this morning, it was like a Monday morning right after LSU was upset by Vandy or Miss St or the Saints last to Atlanta. Except in this case, all of the women were involved in the ridiculousness also. One pre-election outspoken one "elected" to call in sick today.

I've also noticed that the African Americans seem to be very quiet today.

Got a butt hurt black chick and lesbian in here. Boss has already told us we aren't allowed to discuss the election. This is bullshite! I guarantee you that if Hilliary had won they'd be cackling their heads off.

Kind of eerie here. No ones really talking about it, but you can just tell some of these people look like they're ready to burst

I avoid politics, but it does remember me when President Obama was elected to his first term.

I remember getting to work and there was a depressed feeling in the air. There was this woman who's cube was on the other side of mine and she was talking to someone on the phone and she said something along the lines of "my husband told me last night that our life will never be the same. It will not be long until the government will come in and take away our guns, if people have a certain amount of money, they will take it so that everyone has the same amount".. She was truly upset.. And all I could do was laugh.

They were as happy as black people were when Obama won. I have noticed the less informed the voter the more jubilant they were . Same as in 08

It was funny watching them go from "I'm not watching the results because the election is rigged, to "OMG, he did it, we got our country back."

Like I said the less informed the more jubilant.
