Why would you necessarily think he is “softening “ his reaction. I have no trouble believing it just the way he said it. I personally have had several similar conversations with different companies customer service personnel. Quite a few times I’ve had to say “I’m sorry, just having a little trouble understanding you with you accent. Is there someone there who speaks English as a first language I could speak with”. And when they say yes and transfer me I tell them thank you. I don’t have to soften anything because I’m not mad to begin with. It’s not the customer service reps fault that maybe they have a thick accent. I mean, who am I to bitch, at least they are able to speak multiple languages. I can only speak one.
Sound to me like maybe you are just an a-hole and look for reasons to treat people like shite and are projecting how you act on everyone else. Many other people are capable of having normal polite conversations. Sorry you aren’t.

I made the switch to online banks quite some time ago and couldn't be happier. Rates are too good. This sort of thing that has happened to OP is the new norm with money laundering/govt oversight. The 40 year loyalty to a company is sadly vanishing quickly or has already ended. Hopefully OP will have a good resolved update soon (apologies if missed in thread so far).

Please please so to national media, I can’t believe I am saying this but take this story to fox tomorrow and you should hire an attorney and sue their arse, just the publicity will cost them millions and I guarantee some congressman will want to hold hearing etc on this.

Good Fn night. And I complain when they take 8 bucks off of any check through them I cash since I am not a member. This jacked up company is taking this poor guy on a ride I cant imagine. Wow Chase sucks so bad.

Good luck with that if big money ever decided to actually go after it because parting you from your blockchain isn’t what they would do
They’d just make it impossible to withdraw anything of value from it and all you’d be left with is a nicely encrypted distributed data set

You may be right; but there was a story that blew up recently of Amazon bricking all the smart IOT devices in some guys house because a delivery man perceived racism from mishearing a smart doorbell’s default automatic message. I think these kind of stories highlight how easily a third party can ruin your day.
