Man, if you cant enjoy going down to the beach and laying around getting drunk and going piss in the ocean periodically while have lots of sex, i feel bad for you.

I usually go down for Labor day every year since we can walk up to the pool/bar and watch the first week of college football from the pool, and go up at night and watch all the primetime games in the room or at a nearby bar. Pretty tough to beat. One time we even scheduled a charter and caught a bunch of mangrove snapper and grilled them wile watching the first LSU game a couple years back. Try and relax a bit my brother

That’s the Cape baw. Plenty of other places that are shark free. But if you’re in Chatham stay the hell out of the water.

Although no matter where I am going in the water really isn’t my thing. I enjoy being on the beach drinking a beer and reading a book. I’ll go into the water for a second to cool off if needed but otherwise I’m fine on shore.

I own a condo in Phoenix West II, and I usually only go on the beach for a couple of hours on the weeks when I'm there. It gets boring pretty quick.

I also usually only go in the spring and winter to avoid the heat. April is the perfect time to go to avoid the massive crowds, and the temperature is usually perfect.

I live at the beach and don’t touch the beach when kids are out of school and tourist season. All other times of the year are great for a relaxing afternoon when the weather is nice.

Chatham

My favorite town on the cape. Those houses on shore road are insane. I just drove around for an hour scoping out houses I could never afford like a poor.

I completely agree….I prefer to spend my vacation standing in an icy-cold trout stream any day.

When I get tired of that, I take the ski lift up the mountain and coast back down on a rented mountain bike.

Let me guess: you’re at pretentious Alabama or Florida Gulf Coast beaches? I love my brown water LA and MS beaches!

As I got older I started to hate the beach. Sand really sucks you can't get rid of it. Sitting out in the sun when you live in the south is pretty miserable. It was cute when we were younger but it's not for me any longer. I won't hate on people that love it and that's fine for y'all. I rather a vacation in the fall in the mountains.

This here. The beach isn’t my thing. Too hot. I’m fair so I have to put a ton of sunblock on which goes great with sweat and sand. I’ll spend my time hiking in the mountains, but for those who dig the beach, enjoy!

Last time I was there I was walking the beach seeing dozens of seals pop in and out of the water and thought “run you idiots!!!”

Who doesn’t like over priced real estate, Africa heat, over crowded beaches and restaurants along with no place to park?

It’s not crowded everywhere.
Nobody says you have to go during summer.
Hot is countered by being in the water or shade and drinking copious liquids.
arse. Boobies.

Beach rocks.
