I think the downvotes are funny.. Evidently its not an old story if its new to them, but yeah this isn't a new story at all.

Doesn't surprise me. Stereotyping is for people who has a simplistic mindset.

Well, let me rephrase this, I know we all stereotype to some degree. You have to be aware of stereotypes, but you also have to realize there are also a lot of people of whatever group you stereotype that doesn't fall under the stereotype.

Good for him and it's his money. But these first couple of things still seem like a waste of money.

I mean it's impressive for a NFL player for sure. But I think most of us could live off 750k a year pretty comfortably.

49x0.83= 40 mil

49-40 = 9 mil

9mil/11 years = 750k

Agent is what 5-10%

So 49 million = 3 to 5 million to agent

Let’s say 35% tax rate, so 17 million in taxes.

Saving 83% of 49 million leaves you 8.3 million gross to spend pre-tax/agents, and the numbers don’t work that way.

I’m guessing savings is net (after tax/agents). 49-4-17 = 28 million net. 17% of this is 4.76 million. So 433k of spending/year. That’s crazy low, considering his profile and the fact that he probably spent a good portion of that 17% on real estate/housing (an appreciating asset).

Isn’t his daughter being recruited to run track at LSU?
