Not that she doesn’t deserve it but I’m not sure how I feel with people basically calling for your job whenever you frick up in a completely unrelated manner.
So what this woman is just supposed to be jobless and a drain on society the rest of her life? I’m legit asking what the process for her should be. Is she ever allowed to change and grow and rehabilitate? There never seems to be an endgame that includes growth in these scenarios. You frick up and then you’re done forever each time this gets rediscovered. I think we’ve lost our way when it comes to allowing people to grow and mature and understand we will all frick up and hopefully become better people.
ETA: she totally deserves discipline. But it just feels like in 2020 and for a while people want the most extreme amounts of discipline that can be given rather than anything that would be rehabilitative.
