she looked like a total psychopath but who knows what she was dealing with at the time of the incident. The modern mob wins again tho.

it's sad and pathetic how many of you support someone being fired for something they did away from work

It's 2020. You can have a job where you interact with zero people all day but when it comes to public exposure all employees are basically company spokespeople.

Accept the reality and keep your job longer.

She can do all the rehabilitation and growing at Fidelity or Schwab down the street. Once you frick up publicly like that, you can pretty much kiss your current employment good bye. Imagine the blow back Franklin Templeton would face if they kept her on the job. It's just not worth it to them in any shape or form.

That’s what I’m talking about. The company had no choice because all the people went for her job and would harass her employer. Why are people doing that? Why is her being disciplined not enough? Why does she have to be totally terminated. And you know if they find out anyone ever hires her again this will come back up and they’ll likely have to let her go. I’m just comment in general how People just want blood. She fricked up and she’s probably a pretty bad person. But what’s the end game for her life now? Would they be ok with her flipping burgers at McDonald’s or is that too good for her?

Not that she doesn’t deserve it but I’m not sure how I feel with people basically calling for your job whenever you frick up in a completely unrelated manner.

This woman was totally in the wrong. From not having her dog on a leash, to making false claims to the cops.

But I do agree with your sentiment. This woman was being an irresponsible dog owner and bad person on her own time. We've all been bad people at some time in our lives. She wasn't wearing work clothing or representing the company. She was just being a run of the mill a-hole.

Is the "punishment" outsized due to social media attention? I don't know. Companies have morality clauses. Companies can hire/fire at will.

I guess she thought he was poising the dog

He said, you are not going to like what I'm going to do. I wouldn't have called the cops, but beat his arse. Thems fighting words.

I was with my neighbor and he lets his dog shite in this area that's for these apartment dwellers to take their dogs. This Karen was running by while his dog was taking a massive shite and said, are y'all going to pick that up!? We said yeah and then didnt.

No need to start with these people.
