We have a gender free bathroom at my office now. The only other restroom in the building is female only.
We have about 80% female employees so I guess it's more fair for them to have an option if the girls bathroom is occupied.

How much did Centenary have to beg to its alumnae and their family members to give their broke arse money to make these bathrooms happen?
*Actually* Centenary is sitting on a $130,000,000 endowment. Though their oil & gas assets have likely driven that number down in recent months. What they don't have is students.

They used to blow up our phones begging for money.

It is pretty amazing that the enrollment has gone down so much over the last several years. If I remember correctly, their total enrollment is down almost 50% over the last 5-7 years, with several big donors pulling their money out after the change of Division for the remaining sports teams. IMO, Centenary will not be around a whole lot longer as they seem to be pricing themselves out of the market.

What the frick are "parents with differently gendered children"!?

Centenary used to have c.1,000 students. Dropping to DIII really hurt them.
The only good things to come out of Centenary is their basketball history and they choir.

I have heard that there around 10 of their largest donors that pulled off their backing when the DIII shift came about. As Gary mentioned, I am sure they have revenue other the tuition but how long will they keep the doors open if nothing changes and enrollment keeps dropping.

Why does no one answer the question "how many students need this restroom?"
I'd almost show up just to watch the freak show. Hell, people used to pay at carnivals to see freaks of nature, now Darwin has awarded us with people stupid and narcissistic enough to turn themselves into circus sideshows for us to gawk and laugh at.

When they started hemorrhaging students about 10 years ago I heard rumors of a plan to make a splashy basketball coaching hire. It would've cost them ~$5MM in those days. For some reason they went the other way, dropped to DIII and the rest is history. I started college in '02 and their dorm parking lots were filled to the brim, now about 2/3 empty.

Piss all over the seat and leave a floater.

Is this one gender inclusive restroom, or did they change all the restrooms to gender inclusive?
I think all the singles are now gender inclusive. What used to be a single male or single female are just restrooms now. The big ones with multiple shitters and urinals are still segregated.

I guess this just allows everyone to check out which crapper has the least amount of pee on it then you decide what gender you are when you need to drop a deuce.

I'm going take a shower on a girls' floor of a dorm at LSU.
...then again, that wouldn't be the first time.
We've all seen the police report. Too bad you are banned from campus now.

It's a good school. I didn't know Centenary people acted that way. At least none of my friends who went there say stuff like that

Their baseball field is named Shehee, so I guess it's fitting....

A lot of small liberal arts schools are struggling. Centenary is not alone. Their discount rate is north of 80 percent nowadays, so the 588 students they have are paying, on average, 1/5 of published tuition.
I don't see how they can do that much longer. 50 percent is about as high as I like to see, and only in limited cases.
They are blowing through that endowment, as well. So is Millsaps in Mississippi and Hendrix in Arkansas. I've heard Southwestern in TX is starting to struggle. A bunch of Northeastern schools with rich history that you have never heard of are facing dire situations. Sweet Briar closed with $90 million in the bank.
Their only saving grace is to go back to being an elite academic institution and get rid of the SJW crap, but the administration and faculty have been hijacked and tenure is biting them in the arse. Even then, its hard to compete with the three S's nowadays. Students want size, sizzle and sports in their college decisions.

Isn't that just a unisex bathroom?

Don't these already exist?
