good idea but I don't think there's a door between the French fry cooker and the lettuce chopping station

My CEO does talk to text. Middle of a conversation with a few people and he will talk to text a message. It’s the most annoying thing.
There are so many inconsiderate fricks that do shite like this. Who acts like that?

Annoyatron is the only legitimate answer here

I’m a supervisor of a group of entry level I.T. techs and keeping them off their cell phones is a CONSTANT issue. I’ve been clear as day about not playing on their phones and every time I turn around 3 of them get stuck in their phones. It’s sad that some of them are going to have to lose their jobs over their phone addiction.

His ringtones are the loud and obnoxious ones too.
I called the parent of a patient and he had a ringback tone of a limp bizcuit song. This doesn't REALLY pertain to the thread, but I felt like people should know that some people still use ringback tones

It's 2018 and everyone in the office uses their phones. As long as they're getting their work done does it really matter?

My interim boss is in the office next to me and I hate her.
60 year old Harvard Grad Jewish lesbian with purple and blue hair with Dr.Who themed alerts on her phone.
Every time she gets a message I here a 10 second version of Dr.Who "Tardis"
LINK
Phone calls are the intro theme (not as bad) but still long

I wanna say something but I take direction from the guy, so I don't really have the authority to say anything.

If your cell phone isn’t on silent in public, than you are complete trash.

Either have a grown up conversation with him explaining that it is unprofessional and annoying to let his phone ring like that and have personal conversations like that.
Or
Have a conversation with a different coworker in ear shot of this guy talking to them about people that let their phones ring and act the way this guy acts.

Chimes are just stupid. Vibrate or silent.
I'll check the phone when I'm damn ready.

He is probably receiving a ton of semi nude pictures from co workers that are in the bathroom taking pics. I would want to know when i get another one as soon as possible too...

You could retaliate by being one of those assholes who dials out on speaker and waits for someone to answer before picking up.

All I can picture is the un funny douche bag agent in the Aaron Rodgers commercials.

They're allowed to talk on the phone at a reasonable volume from 9-11

Does he have any company work to do? Give him some.

frick this guy
I work with a guy who take client calls on speaker with his door open. And he yells at the speaker. I could tell you everything there is to know about each oh his clients. It’s distracting and infuriating. And yes I can hear him with my door closed.
