Johnny Depp has more authentic and prized art than he has walls in his multiple mansions. If he dumped all of the art and most of the houses, he would be fine.

No he wouldn't. Do you know what bankruptcy means? He has or is on the verge of having more liabilities than assets. Yes, he can generate a ton of cash, but all of it would already be committed to servicing debt.

When you make tens of millions dollars, why be in debt or have mortgage? Why not just buy reasonably modest things and pay everything in cash? Those muthafrickas need some Dave Ramsey.

I personally dont think these people are totally broke. They just have outstanding debts and in most cases they used up all their reserves of money.
As for Kanye, I believe the theory that he is rebranding himself. He wants to broaden his base of customers. He thinks the best way is to appeal to Trump, which his new customer base supports.
Kanye has a long history of being very outspoken. The only reason he is getting good press with GOP is due to his recent actions. Before that, he was honestly just another famous black entertainer.
Seriously, hes married to the very woman many on this board LOATHE. I'm not mad at him, hes a Savvy businessman.

Because compounding interest, especually at that principal out, is a very powerful thing.

I really don't see how 50 or Kanye is broke, and I also really don't see how people can verify this information. Think you have to take this stuff with a serving of sodium.
