This is in direct contrast to what we have been told. Who was fired? This is a monumental frick up. All credibility is hopelessly lost.

I just went to donate blood, walked up to the door and they told me I needed a mask. Told her I’d be back when that was no longer the case.

Quote is from a CNN article where the CDC says they've been muzzled and of course it is all Trump's fault, but then put this in the middle of the article detailing where the relationship soured.
I mean, with the way the CDC bungled the testing and were taking the CCP and WHO words as gospel early on, I wouldn't want them spearheading anything. Now after months of spreading fear and panic about how easily spread this virus is it's now not so easy unless you're in close contact with an infected individual. No masks, now everyone must wear masks. They are clearly incompetent.
