Due to the precautions being taken, I don’t think we will have 22,000 corona deaths.

Can we stop the "we saved x amount of lives by doing this" routine?

It's impossible to prove something that never happened.

The next time we have a bad flu season all we need to do is kill the economy. IT WORKS AND SAVES LIVES

Many will be saying this from now on whenever we face an epidemic.

I’ve seen scientists predict almost ten times that if we do nothing.

Your post is a prime example of how gullible and dumb we’ve become as a society. Just because you read something that said “according to scientists” they take it as gospel truth.

I’ve seen scientists predict half of Louisiana would be underwater by 2010. Guess what it’s all guess work and a white coat usually with monetary agenda. If we reach 25K worldwide bill be surprised. We stay well below 4K nationwide.

You have zero clue how many people are infected since the vast majority never show symptoms. People have lost their fricking minds.

Why do you believe the CDC flu death numbers, but don't believe the CDC when they say covid-19 is worse than the flu?

Seeing is believing and so far the numbers just don’t back it up. Hospitals should be overwhelmed by now.

Because they are all weak. They'd rather be safe than free and prosperous.

How are we going to handle a real actual emergency?

No doubt science has taken a huge hit from the politics of global warming. Maybe this is the same thing, but Italy says otherwise.

Theyll probably continue to go up as we expand testing, but the severity of reported cases should plummet
