That's not how this works. The evidence for vaccines causing autism can't be the lack of evidence to the contrary.

/THREAD. This needs to be plastered on billboards all over the country.

Do you blindly ignore all studies in support of vaccines and those that debunk toxin/heavy meta arguments? Do you not believe anything in support vaccines because it all comes from Big Pharma?

Well, the Facebook group "Anti-vaxx Moms of America" facebook polls show the opposite.

Again, that is because it was essentially eradicated in the US due to the vaccine, until recently when it started popping up again thanks to the dumbass antivaxxers such as yourself

The guy is clearly either unintelligent or trolling hard.

If something is killing 5,000 people a year, and a preventative solution brings that down to 0 deaths, yet causes 50 deaths itself, it's still the course you should take.

So do you blame vaccines for your obvious autism?

One of us is willing to look at the risks and weigh them.

The other is willing to blindly trust a company trying to make money.

Which one of us seems like they are using their mind to make an informed decision?

I used to be pro-vax but after finding out the nearly complete lack of safety studies and lack of science and the push push push for these shots to be mandated, I am now completely convinced that they are destroying our health.

Did you know that 73% of children that die of SIDs had a vaccine within 1 day of dying?

Science

Here's a peer reviewed paper that suggests the broadening of the definition of autism has reduced the quantifiable separation between those with diagnoses and those without.

It is not unheard of, in schools, for disability accommodation providers to deny service for those with an autism diagnosis because the screening did not meet the rigor of accepted medical practices.

It's basically the new ADHD for overprotective parents and undermines the struggle of those who are actually afflicted.

This is going to require a link.

How many of those parents who say their child has autism actually received an official diagnosis vs. just say the child has it?

What does it say about the above average levels of rationality and intelligence that you so clearly believe you possessthat it makes you incapable of understanding the behavior of less intelligent and less rational people?
If the fruit of your gifts is that you cannot empathize with your fellow humans, that's a problem.

If your goal is actually to improve the general public health and not merely to grandstand, then you should have more tools in your toolbox than mockery and derision.

Yeah, that study doesn't say what you think it says and definitely not any kind of smoking gun. In other words, you've proven nothing and it doesn't prove that vaccines are safe. But you have found your way to some scholarly reports and for that you should be proud. Keep searching and maybe you will understand.

I can’t tell if you’re pro or anti vaccine

There’s only one right answer here or you yourself are retarded.

You ever notice that the websites that spout correlations between autism and vaccination are always websites that no one has ever heard of with names like icandecide.org; meanwhile every reputable website, government entity and news organization all spout that there is no correlation?

The study that started this whole trend was proven to be false one that no one could recreate.

The definition of autism has broadened just about every 5 years since 1980. So are there more cases today? Tough to tell really. Are there more people diagnosed? Well of course there are.

The term was originally coined as a form of schizophrenia. It went through many iterations until 2013, the most recent, which classifies autism as a spectrum disorder that only requires two characteristics, Repetitive behavior and social anxiety. So if you are awkward at parties and stick to a routine, you are now on the spectrum.

Given all of that proven information. It's pretty easy to see why diagnoses have ticked up over the last 40 years

You do realize that they can track children’s vaccine records and the incident rates of autism without running a freaking canned study right? In fact you moron, that will provide more legitimate statistical evidence either way.

Some people really are this naive and stupid.

I'm not trying to prove that vaccines are safe. It's an alternative view to your suggestion that the increase in autism diagnoses is somehow tied to an increase in vaccinations.

So, drug manufacturers should not have to prove that their drugs are safe before they hit the market? In what universe would this be acceptable?
