Unfortunately, the frickwad soybois who’ve been pushing lockdowns/masks/vaccines are too stupid to understand the data.

They’ll downvote all evidence contrary to what reddit tells them

Also, just for more fact checking

The rate of myocarditis post vaccination is 12.6 per million people

The rate of myocarditis in the general population is 15 cases per 100,000 people

Sooooooo, yehhhh

I agree that it's still pretty rare but do you think we should be forcing kids to get a vaccine that we don't have any long term data on? They have almost zero risk of having issues from Covid either.

That’s not what the CDC just published according to the OP

So a 0.005% chance of myocarditis. Not much of an issue.

Or 0.000000000000000000% without it

The OP is simply lying to you. Straight from the CDC

quote:

The agency said there have been 267 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis reported after receiving one dose of the mRNA vaccines and 827 reported cases after two doses through June 11. There are 132 additional cases where the number of doses received is unknown, the CDC said.

Roughly 300 million of the shots had been administered as of June 11, the agency said.

"This is still a rare event," Dr. Tom Shimabukuro said at the meeting. For both vaccines combined, there were 12.6 heart inflammation cases per million doses. The cases were more frequent among Moderna's vaccine recipients at 19.8 cases per million versus eight cases per million for Pfizer's, he said.

Myocarditis in general population is .015%

Rate of myocarditis in vaccinated population is .000004%

Did you really think myocarditis didn’t exist before?

People will roll their eyes at this, because they are team vaccine, but doesn't it raise the question of HOW? How does a virus-less vaccine injected into the shoulder and staying in the shoulder cause heart problems? And how can anyone possibly be SURE there aren't other as yet unknown long term effects? Were we warned about this particular side effect?

Cool

1200 people total have gotten myocarditis out of 300,000,000

That’s a rate of 12.6 out of 1 million

The general population is 14 out of 100,000

So overall the covid vaccine helps prevent myocarditis

Wasn’t myocarditis the main risk for young people who got Covid?

Its actually a very simply answer. Inflammatory responses cause myocarditis, and vaccines cause inflammatory responses

It’s actually that simple

I don't have any reason to dispute your numbers but do the benefits of a young person or kid getting the vaccine outweigh the risks? My argument is that we don't really know yet. But we do know that they have an extremely low risk from Covid. I'm not planning on getting my 14 yr old vaccinated.
