Friend of mine has a young child that goes to the day care at the synagogue and they were told to come get their kids. Said it’s total chaos and SWAT is everywhere.

Probably fake threat, they are known to make up things like this to gain sympathy and divide the other groups.

My daughter is at SJA. She texted “they just switched us from red to yellow” and “the guy is in custody” “many of the children from the daycare are in our gym”

This isn’t the fricking state of Israel. This is a small and the only synagogue in Baton Rouge. With a large and respected daycare with probably more non-Jewish kids than Jewish.

We didn’t know for a while why they were on lockdown. Our kids started texting us long before we got texts from the schools asking us if WE knew why they were on lockdown. So some of us came here asking if anyone knew what was going on.
After what happened at the mall yesterday, some of the kids were scared. I was certainly on edge not knowing why they were on red lockdown and getting a text from my daughter saying she was afraid and that they didn’t have a teacher in the classroom but couldn’t leave the classroom.
Her friend texted her mom, a cop, and she told her bomb threat at synagogue. That’s when i worried about the kids in the daycare.

I got a text from my daughter 15 min before school sent their message. Last message received said downgraded to yellow lockdown but no other details.

Think critically about the synagogue in Baton Rouge, moron.
Its membership is families of local lawyers, doctors, business people, and LSU professors. It is a tiny community that I guarantee out-punches its weight in philanthropic and general contributions to the Baton Rouge community. Those are facts.
It is an asset to Baton Rouge and should not be the target of violent threats.
It is not part of some globalist conspiracy or whatever "patterns" you claim to see through what I am sure is your dedicated scholarly and fact-based research on everything wrong with the world.
Its membership is families of local lawyers, doctors, business people, and LSU professors. It is a tiny community that I guarantee out-punches its weight in philanthropic and general contributions to the Baton Rouge community. Those are facts.
