Baton Rouge Police Department Armed Robbery Detectives are asking all units to be on the look out for a stolen gray 2019 Chevrolet Camaro (actual shown below) bearing Louisiana license plate 166 DPD.

Vehicle was taken during an Armed Robbery on Friday July 9, 2021 shortly after 6:00pm from 5000 Hennessy Boulevard, more specifically the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

The suspect is described as a skinny young black male in his early twenties armed with a handgun.

Any unit coming into contact is asked to hold and contact the Baton Rouge Police Department at 389-2000.

It still blows my mind the state made the decision to make olol the city’s charity hospital.

I spoke to an employee there who told me she enjoyed the covid restrictions because it allowed the hospital to keep out the trash that comes to “visit” patients.

99.9 of the time this could be the lead sentence in any baton rouge homicide, carjacking, or robbery.

When the deal was being finalized, the ER staff was being told that the hospital was only interested in the teaching hospital credentials The patients were going to have to find care somewhere else. OK "wink wink"

Bobby Jindal was a terrible governor

Maybe so, but Bobby Jindal wasn’t and isn’t responsible for the festering shithole Baton Rouge has become and continues to be. That’s solely on the people who perpetrate the crime and tolerate the criminals as well as the mayor, police chief, and council.
Murphy Paul and Broome should be run out of office for their incompetence and inaction on BR crime. But their supporters also accept the criminals so it’s a losing battle.

I live off of Essen Lane. I almost didn’t go to the French Quarter tonight because of all the carjackings in N. O. Now I look like a genius!

Will always be so stupid they didn’t turn the old woman’s hospital into the new charity hospital when they closed EKL. The Lake is trash now.

I love how the city bought it and it looks like it's abandoned. Just a glimpse into the city government of Baton Rouge.
