1967 Ford Galaxie 500
4 door with a hard top.(Meaning if you rolled down all 4 windows you'd have 2 giant windows}
No A/C.
Top Speed = 65 mph ( My Dad, " That's Perfect"}
Had to pulled the steering column shifter to the left so I could crank it. The shifter was chrome- real chrome mind you. That bitch got hot in the sun.
When it was foggy out I had to bust out a blow dryer to dry off the distributor cap so I could crank it. lol
Fuel gauge was broke so I had to keep about 5 ft of garden hose in the back seat so I could tell how much gas was in the car.
Real chrome bumpers. If a dog ran out in front of you and you hit it there was absolutely zero damage to car.
Had some amazing times in that car. And would pay good money to drive that baby one more time!

What sucks about this thread is not ever seeing some of these cars on the road to reminence while on the road due to "cash for clunkers"
I love seeing a car from my childhood on the road, and remembering an old friend. When you'd pull up to the grocery and see your friends moms car and you know your trip to store just got better cause yalls mom let yall run around the store until they were done. Man life really was so much better an innocent pre cell phones.
