Generally yup.
After seeing windows broken around me I’ve taken to the don’t leave much and don’t lock it in my own driveway. Will occasionally come out and find the armrest open or visor down but never anything missing (occasionally a tie or jacket will be in the back seat without issue).
Neighbors truck had the window broken and the laptop was left on the seat the other day.
It’s got to be a special kind of ffrustrating to have the window broken and stuff not even stolen

Cops said they steal guns, money, and designer bags.
I'll start bringing my designer bags inside at night...

Here is an idea for a new infomerrcial. Create decal wraps that look like broken out car windows that affix onto a perfect good window. Have them available for every make and model for $19.95 plus s/h. At night drugged out perps will think that these cars have already been hit and move on to the next victim.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll move my drugs and cash inside tonight.

Weird that my car alarm also didn’t go off as it’s right outside so I would have been alerted by it.
Might have saved your life. Never know the chain of events that might have happened had it went off.

With the rhetoric coming out of the left, why wouldn’t everyone, who has a need, steal whatever they needed?

Try having your soft top sliced open when there’s a fricking zipper and the door isn’t locked.
To steal a $20 bottle of wine for a Christmas party

Probably looking for Cash to send to the Biden/Harris Campaign Fund
You encountered a member(s) of the Feral Species out hunting/gathering under the protective safety of a Federal mandated "Cover of Darkness"

What cross street or block? Not common for thieves to hit St. Charles. They usually prefer the darker back streets. Also, was your window smashed? If so, that’s why your alarm didn’t go off. They smash the window, clear the glass, and get in through the window. Alarm only goes off if a locked door is opened from the inside or if you have a premium alarm that goes off for window shatter.

I would say my boyfriend probably paid someone to steal the CD, but he would’ve left the car unlocked in order not to have to replace the broken window
But really my point is NOLA always has idiots breaking into cars for no reason

This is daily life in south Louisiana, especially the bigger cities

I used to live near you, off Bienville and Carrollton. In 1998 I bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was stolen from the front of my house when I had it only 5 days.
