Car dealerships

When can we make them pay? When will they get it? It’s like car salesmen want to live that 6 figure lifestyle now, when they rarely did before that. Looking at trucks and the prices are shameless. The most basic Tundra is 50k. Some one should tell the dealerships

Well who doesn't want the O-T baller lifestyle.

The salesmen don't set the price on a new car.

If the average car salesmen gets 25% commission (just googled average commission) on a 50k truck. That’s 12.5k. That means if they sell 5 trucks a month they are making more than some CRNA’s or engineers. Insane…

Dealers don’t set MSRP.
I just bought a Grand Cherokee for $5k under sticker with 1.9% financing. Manufacturers are going to be forced to start offering more incentives soon. Give it some time.

Don't pay more than you are comfortable with. Not a hard concept.

25% of the profit on the truck not the gross sale.

Someone tell the baws that are still buying them. It’s all their fault.

They get a % of gross profit, after some deductions that the dealer considers "non-commissionable". They are typically making $500-1,000/car.
Yes there are guys who make $400-500k selling cars, they are not the norm. Typically a dealer will have 2-3 guys making 6 figures and the rest of the sales staff sells less than 10 cars per month and make far less.

Stop buying cars and prices will fall. But based on January sales data people keep buying

You need to realize you don't need a full size truck to drive back and forth to work. Buy an Accord and move on.
