Sterling was good but no dealer had the color we wanted besides Sellers. Knowing that color was $500 more they couldn't even get close.

Asked the others 1 more chance and they claimed they didn't jerk us around and if it comes down to dollars then so be it. So I replied "Not getting jerked around Fee - $1500" to one of them.

Why on earth would another dealership have to give you the same price another one offered you?

It was in writing and a deposit was put in on it. Yeah you're right completely oral.

I've just come terms that buying cars and houses just suck in general no matter if you can buy in full or not.

To me, the only thing the dealership did wrong was take your deposit.

Did they return it?

Peake BMW in Kenner! I bought a car from them and they lied, tried to trick me several times, agreed to terms then produced a contract that was different. Dirty, dirty business. Dirty people too.

So in the end Sellers had the better deal once the manager got involved. I loved seeing the salesman get pissed yesterday though.

You do know managers and salesman put on a choreographed dance for customers every day. All the frustration and consternation between them is just for show. They are high-fiving over donuts and coffee in the back.

The dealership should have to give you your deposit x2 back. You gave money to them to hold it until paperwork could be finalized. If you backed out they would take your deposit. They backed out so they should have to pay you.

This! People always say contact the BBB. The BBB can't do jack shite. It will be a bad mark on the business but who doesn't have bad marks?

Exactly. Because now they sold to the new buyers who wasn't willing to wait (oh we just got this brand new one in here take it), and the original buyer who took the high hard one up the bum and just rewarded them for tom foolery.
