When I was a little kid Siegen was a two lane asphalt road with no shoulders. My Dad would take me there to buy firewood at a place that had live chickens running around.

That was Honore lane. They had a nursery and all kinda shite like that. Road is still there. Looks like some of those houses are still back there almost to Amazon hub.
