If it were fantastic, it wouldn't require special treatment so soon from routine use.

For some reason, Japanese automakers figured out how to make cars that go 7,500-10,000 miles on an oil change and require no maintenance for 100,000 miles about a decade ago but that kind of technology escapes domestic automakers somehow.

for the record I drove Gm products in the past, left them over poor workmanship, quality and reliability.

They lost me forever--unless they want to give me a Vette-- then I will drive and evaluate

Less sound insulation.
Less tech.
Less sophisticated powertrains.
More shitty hard plastic on the interior.
Uglier design.

Source: I sell used vehicles in Montana. I’ve driven probably a thousand GM trucks/SUVs in the 2007-13 bodystyle, and every time I drive a 2014-current GM truck/SUV I’m blown away. They aren’t even playing the same sport.

For reference, I drive a 2011 BMW X5 diesel. I drove a 2016 Silverado 3500 crew/longbed dually Duramax last week between dealerships. That 7000-lb 20-foot-long truck with six wheels and a 403ci turbodiesel V8 underhood was noticeably quieter at 60 mph than my X5. Could hardly believe that shite.

When would be the best time to look for a 15/16 Yukon? I would imagine now when the 18s are on the cusp of rolling out, right?
