I'm seeing some ads on TV in my area for GMC and Chevy Trucks and SUV's with $12,000+ off MSRP. That doesn't look like a very good deal IMO.

Yeah if I go up to LTZ or Premier I can get max rebate. Not spending 60k to say I got the biggest discount offered. It’s tiered

Your price looks pretty good after just taking a look at what's being offered with 500 miles of me. There are two 2017 LTs that are being advertised at exactly $10k off the sticker. I think you can do a little better, but it's not a bad price.

Initial word was the trucks would move to the new platform for 2019 and the SUVs for 2020. Not sure if that is still the plan or not.

Go look at a slightly used 2016 vehicle with like 10k miles. Unless you find a deal on a private sale, you aren't getting it 15k cheaper. Maybe 2-3k. Used vehicles aren't as cheap as the OT likes to think

And to make it even better, there are ZERO 2016 Tahoe LTs within 500 miles of me with less than 30k miles and under $40k.

2014 is the old body style (the same one from 2007). Resale value is going to be much worse on a 2014 than 2015+, not to mention they were much shittier vehicles. There are also no "great deals" on used 2015's, as they have held their value much better. You can find one for under $35k but it's not going to have a warranty and will have a bunch of miles.
On this specific vehicle, new for $45k is the value play.

That looks about right. My wife got a '17 Tahoe a couple months ago and I think that's about what she paid.
