it is probably a battery problem...just gotta get the vehicle somewhere to put a load test on the battery to find out. If it is under warranty, I would bring it to the dealership. if not, I would bring it somewhere that will be a little cheaper.
regardless, I have very little patience for a car that is basically new breaking down.

Ok, got the car to the dealership. I am glad I didn't change it myself because it is still under warranty at the dealership and if it is something other than the battery that is almost surely under warranty as well. Appreciate the ones who actually gave advice.
And for the record, the only thing that offended me in this entire thread was someone calling me a Millenial. frick off.

that is your best bet...they should be able to handle it pretty quickly if they can get to it in a reasonable amount of time.

You found your way here, started a thread, wrote all of that, all while you had Google at your disposal? I was changing out car batteries and oil when I was 12. C'mon.

It's so difficult. Changing out an alternator in a 76 Bronco and getting the belts tight enough is easier than that

Didn't read but will say that I bought the coolest gadget for $80. It's a battery booster that will charge phones and stuff but will also jumpstart a car (or mower).
My wife called me madder than hell because I didn't read her mind and go buy a battery for the kid's car. I was out of town and she was stranded. I told her right quick how to use it and she was able to drive over to buy a battery. Worth the $80 for that one need
