Get your phone out of your purse and call a tow truck.

Get the alternator checked if you can too. Although I don't know if they can test it while on the car.

They should be able to tell from assessing the battery, right? If he had a voltmeter he could do it himself, if he can get it started.

Good lord he or she is wanting to call a tow truck for a dead battery, do you really think a volt meter would help this guy (gal)

Right, I'm assuming from the OP that he doesn't have one or know how to use it. I would think any part store could tho.

Some people aren't familiar with cars and their workings, trying not to be an arse like everyone else.

They can show you how to change it, bring the tools you lack, and help to lift the heavy battery.

Changing the battery is the easiest thing you can do other than putting gas in

Changing your wiper blades and air filter are easier than changing a battery. Also depends on the car.

Have a 2000's Concorde. I changed the battery in it once. I'll gladly pay someone to change it again.

Put the car in park. Try cranking again. Battery is better now.

Works for my wife.

For the love of god, check the blinker fluid before you change the battery. Good luck
