These boat launch live stream videos really took off during covid. Started in Miami and spread east. First one was the guy streaming people getting wrecked at Haulover.

I am not suggesting he deserved to be stabbed but I would be pissed if he was filming my kids and putting them on social media...is that even allowed without parental permission?

I put this loser on the same level as those 1st amendment auditor creeps. I couldn't imagine going through my adult life trying to antagonize people into a confrontation for content or some type of litigation.

In general children have the same expectation of privacy in public as adults. With limits like voyeurism and harassment. There are some limits on commercial use of the images or video but I would have to do some research to see if monetized YT videos would be covered under that.
I was hoping the Chud the Builder situation would calm some of this down but it doesn't seem like it has.

As someone who has boated for over 20 years, we all sometimes do something stupid at the boat ramp. If you can think of something stupid that can happen when launching or receiving a boat I can promise you that I have done it. Except dying.
Those times are embarrassing and you always feel a sense of urgency to get out of the way so others can launch. The last thing you need is some GoPro a-hole calling you out. frick him.

I always cracked up at boat launches... Look for the brand new boat with the plastic fenders on the trailer, will be great entertainment..
I had a family trying to put their boat on a trailer as I pulled up to the launch one day. Got out my boat, got my truck, backed down the ramp and drove my boat on the trailer then pulled out to strap everything down.
As I was leaving, the family still hadn't got the boat on the trailer yet...
Good stuff...

That guy has every right to go where he wants to film and motivate people to argue with him. However when you keep poking at people someone might just snap. Sucks that someone stabbed him but this stirring up people comes with a chance this could happen. First time I've heard of him and watched some of this stuff.
