Kind of like a shitload of straight people

I think the community is also less likely to be married, and if you’re not married, you probably can’t submit both incomes to a bank

Are mortgage rates different for LGBTQ people? Do they have a different credit score system that lowers their score because they’re gay?

They are no different than the average person in that regard. We don’t need new laws and guidelines for such a small portion of the population because they feel somehow slighted by the home buying process. These wackos are out of their minds.

It’s been a while since I had to fill out any mortgage papers. I do remember there’s a ton of info you have to provide though. I don’t recall being asked if I suck dick though.

Always a damn victim. These arse hats are insufferable.

What next? "Lesbians can't get enough poon. Those straight white men get all of the good poon. We are being marginalized by the straight white man. Do something Eric Swalwell!"

"Straight men don't want to screw trannies. That's transphobic. Do something Elizabeth Warren!"

We don't hate them, we don't care, we want to ignore them, but they won't let us. They will force us to loathe them sooner than later.

Nothing intrinsic to being gay. IF those are the numbers, then that is just the way it is. Perhaps they should do less parading and browbeating others who really don't give a shite who they sleep with and work harder.

Current society rewards them for being a victim. The more victimized you are, the more attention you'll get. Intersectionality.

The gays work plenty hard and are probably in a better position to buy a house than most heteros. The problem is the lesbians. Not only do you have 2 women shopping but they are notoriously lazy.

Wait, I thought gays were so successful and had all this disposable income. Was someone lying to me?

I saw CNBC trying to push this story and they put these types of stories constantly as “most read” (I doubt it)

Fricking report the financial news, not groomer news with a finance twist you freaks

We actually just make more money which is nice. Pretty good “mental illness” to have where you become more successful than the so-called normal people.

Same-Sex Married Couples Have Higher Income Than Opposite-Sex Married Couples

So obviously no need for the preferential treatment in this article.

Anyway I would never equate more money with being mentally healthy - just look at Hollywood.

And as for your “so-called normal” - Evolution and reproduction agree with notion that heterosexuality is the norm. It’s how you were created unless you still believe a stork delivered you.

Not even close to that by real estimates.

The sad thing is that most of them voted for Trump and bear no responsibility for higher rates.

Should have saved the money when nobody had to pay rent. That would have given anyone renting a decent down payment there.

50% of LGBTQ adults and 64% of LGBTQ couples own their own homes. For non-LGBTQ groups, those numbers are 70% and 75%.

Or just maybe lgbtq couples have different housing needs than a straight couple.

An lgbtq household is likely to be a family of 2, making a small (rental) apartment the most sensible housing situation.

A hetero family with multiple kids will need a larger property, and are more likely to purchase a house.

Somebody is trying WAY too hard. How does a story this ridiculous make it passed an editor.

How are there even statistics on this?
