Kinda weird to be arguing to make it easier for children to watch porn, is it not?

This law isn't going to do jack shite towards making it more difficult for children to watch porn. All it's going to accomplish is what I outlined in this post several pages ago:

Burqas for women both inside and outside the home will stop kids from being exposed to porn and impure thoughts about women.

We gotta do it for the chirren!

Just for women? Then we'll be able to identify who are women and lust after them!

Burqas for everyone! Then no one can lust after anyone out of fear of accidentally catching the gays.

So all ID laws required to verify age should be overturned?

No. Why would that be the implication of my post?

When you buy your weekly spank mag at the smut shop, does the clerk take your ID, photocopy it, send it off to a state funded warehouse to place in a file with a copy of the receipt for the cuck porn you buy once a week? A file kept in a warehouse with questionable security, in a part of town known for theft and blackmail?

If so, I’d start looking for other proprietors for your cuck fetishes, cause no one in their right mind would want to consent to that sort of agreement to buy some smokes, alcohol, or porn.

I finally got in and rubbed one out earlier. PornHub is not what it used to be at all, it’s become pretty disappointing.

Do not. That would make me a principle-less hypocrite alongside the other 99% of the population.

just because you repeat this does not make it true

why not let 14 year olds buy beer and tobacco? they get it anyways, right?

Just because you repeat that analogy doesn't make it apt. A better analogy would be that for every store that sells cigarettes and alcohol that checks for age, there are a dozen stores right next door that sell alcohol and cigarettes that don't card, and whose products are laced with rat poison. And that dozen will stay open forever because law enforcement doesn't have jurisdiction to shut them down.

In that analogy, I would absolutely say dear god please let the 14 year olds buy their cigarettes and alcohol from the normal store. Your analogy, on the other hand, is dogshit apples to oranges due to the fundamental nature of the decentralized internet versus brick and mortar stores on US soil.

Now that I've addressed your argument, how about you try addressing mine? Considering the decentralized nature of the internet, why do you believe this law is more likely to reduce youth consumption of pornography than it is to inadvertently drive them to harder, edgier forms of pornography when those are the only sites that aren't checking for age?

That’s the major concern.

Lets turn this around on you, why not every time you go to buy tobacco, alcohol, or your wife's endless sex toys cause you can't satisfy her etc. The clerk should have to take your photo ID, make a copy of it, send it off with a copy of the receipt of sale and the timestamp of your purchase, along with a marker of activity you engaged in within the establishment. That will be put in a warehouse with a file on all your activity. Managed by some politician's dumb son's questionable warehouse company, located in a shitty part of town where theft is rampant.
