How 'bout them balls on the pilot?

Apparently there are two Quebec aircrafts (calls signs Quebec-1 and Quebec-2) helping out in California with the wild fires.

Honestly, that probably isn’t shite for him. Something he’s done 1000 times but awesome nonetheless

That plane lands on water anyways so he's really just doing a touch and go.

I remember reading about a skeleton in scuba gear found out in the middle of the woods in California. Supposedly got scooped up and dumped over a forest fire. Probably bullshite but it's still real to me.

That shite has to be squirrelly. All that water sloshing around and then dumping god knows how much weight immediately.

Honestly, they should use a different pilot.

The balls on that one weigh half as much as the plane. They could carry a lot more water with someone else.

The refilling with water is not impressive but the way they are flying down the sides of hills with a big belly of water is.

I don't know how that plane stays in the air with that pilot's giant fricking balls.

That was a legit story. Probably fifteen years or so ago by now.

Mechanics on how those planes operate. Remember seeing this on discovery.

Mythbusters took on this one I think. It may have been a helicopter, though.

A friend of mine's dad flies crop dusters for a living. He sprays pretty much all the fields around where I grew up and where a lot of my family still lives.

I was down that way a few weeks ago, and he was spraying. When he can, he will buzz the house when making his approach to surrounding fields. I watched him for nearly an hour before he finally finished spraying. Pass after sphincter tightening pass. It will always amaze me.

I asked my friend recently if he was ever going to get his license and fly. He said, " Nah....somebody has to do the work on the ground!"

Yep! Someone's gotta fix that plane when the pilot bellies it into the ground.

There’s no massive shift in weight and balance or anything when they take in water or release it. It’s just flying a straight line...
