For many of my favorite songs, I can listen to the first minute or so in head but mind starts to wander. Has anyone ever listened to an entire song and then confirmed it was the same length down to second?

Feel like I could do it with a little practice.

Best I can manage is getting a certain part of a song stuck in my head and NOT being able to get it out. But no... I can generally make it to the chorus or hook or whatever... then move on to another song...

Attempting to do so has, literally, never occurred to me

I have no idea what you’re talking about but fairly certain I still play Ice Ice Baby in my head backwards and forwards with no problem

You mean do I sing songs in my head?

Yes. And then I write them down if they are mine.

I think I can do it with my most listened to song. Standby, I'll be back in 10 minutes.

Ok, I already give up my timing is all off.

Was it the radio version of Freebird vs the 13-14 minute version live? Asking for a friend.

I absolutely can. I mean, if its a song I heard a bunch of times.. I mean I don't actually hear it, but I can think of the rhythm and lyrics. Like when a song gets stuck in your head, but I can think out the whole songs but only for about 15 or so songs.

You can start a song on a speaker, walk away from me for all but the last 30 seconds, and I will be right with it when you get back.

I think it's my one lucky autism symptom.

Something like this was discussed in a thread awhile back. People like myself evidently have something called Aphantasia. If I close my eyes and try to visualize something all I see is blackness.
