Lunch box…..why in the planet would you go on a Carnival Cruise, when so many other lines have better, everything.

Someone made the mistake of referring to it as the poopdeck.

carnival get dogged on but before COVID me and my wife cruised carnival a good bit. Obviously the longer the sailing the more expensive it was thus the better the crowd, but even at it's worse it was never like this.

carnival cruises were sorta sentimental to us, because we had done so many to so many ports over the years, but recently we've started seeing these videos and realized we went on our last one years ago

Because it goes where I want from where I want to leave from at a reasonable price

I've done Carnival, NCL, and Disney out of Nola and NCL and Disney out of Florida. There's nothing wrong with 7 night Carnival trips imo.

There are ways to avoid "those" cruises.

Don't go over holidays.

Don't go out of New Orleans, ever.

Don't go on a carnival cruise less than 7 days.

If you WANT to experience those things then go out of New Orleans or Galveston on a 5 day over a holiday. It'll be EVERYTHING you see on YouTube.

Go on an Alaskan one.

Was talking with a guy I used to work with, nicknamed America's Coolest Brother, and once brought up the subject of cruises. He told me black people don't go on them. Asked him why & he said you not gonna fool us again.

We are going on an Alaskan cruise next week. I sure hope it’s not like that. Not too worried it will be, though. I figure at 52 years old, we will be some of the young’uns on the boat.

This is why Carnival implemented the rules they did a few weeks ago.

I had to look this up. The AI overview on google:

Carnival Cruise Line has implemented new rules focused on safety and behavior, including a teen curfew, restrictions on certain items, and a policy regarding unattended pool chairs. These changes have sparked controversy, with some suggesting they unfairly target specific demographics

Looks like a fun time. I'd love to be on the ship.

You mean the children? Yes, kids do tend to wear life jackets in the pool.

No, most kids don't get in pools with life jackets
