without having to stop and think about it or add in your head?

I have trouble with...

3 x 9
3 x 12

4 x 9
4 x 12

6 x 7
6 x 9

7 x 6
7 x 8
7 x 9
7 x 12

8 x 3
8 x 4
8 x 9
8 x 12

9 x 3
9 x 4
9 x 6
9 x 7
9 x 8
9 x 12
Damn I need to work on my 9's.

11 x 12

12 x 6
12 x 7
12 x 8
12 x 9
12 x 11

Remember, this is about knowing the answer without having to think about it. As soon as you say, 6 x 7 is ... and you don't recall the answer right away, write it down and post your trouble spots. From 1 x 1 thru 12 x 12.

Yes I can. You can learn to multiply large numbers quickly without any memorizing. I’m sure you can watch some YouTube videos that wlll help.

I do always double check myself with a calculator at work because I don’t want to kill people by doing math in my head.

yes. I'm not taking your test, but it was drilled into my head when I was 10 and has lived there ever since.

In 6th grade we had daily multiplication tables quizzes. Known them cold ever since. It boggles my mind that every high school graduate doesn’t have at least a decent working knowledge of basic math. I don’t mean people who have to think about it or add in their head - I mean people who couldn’t do it even if you gave them a calculator.

None of those should be tough unless you struggle with numbers

9's are easy. Remember the answer will add up to nine, or is divisible by 9, such as,
9x4=36; 3+6=9
9x5=45; 4+5=9
9x6=54; 5+4=9
9x7=63; 6+3=9
9x8=72; 7+2=9
9x10=90; 9+0=9
9x11=99; 9+9=18; 1+8=9 or 18/9=2
9x12=108; 1+0+8=9
9x13=117 1+1+7=9
9x14=126 1+2+6=9
9x15=135; 1+3+5=9
9x16=144
9x17=153
9x18=162
9x19=171
9x20=180
9x21=189; 1+8+9=18 which is divisible by 9; 18/9=2

So you have to think about it and add? Then your answer is no.
