The month of May has been every day it seems like and not really consistent just a deluge

I feel like these past two months have been particularly ridiculous.

Broke ground on an pool April 22. 5 weeks later we're nowhere near where we should be due to the constant rain and threat of rain.

That's crazy considering Houston gets alot of rain annually. El Nino year.

I wonder if California will get any relief this year from their exceptional drought

Quick hijack, where is a reliable place to find precipitation records for a particular area? For example, say I want to view the daily amount of rainfall a city has gotten in the past 2 weeks. I also would be interested in seeing yearly/monthly averages and records for an area too. I've tried to google it but the weather sites are all a cluster frick to me

Unless I'm misunderstanding there is absolutely no way the Houston yearly rainfall record is 30+ inches. Allison dropped like 30 inches of rain in a week or something like that
