What's apparent is that the black leadership is taking their orders now from white, left wing Antifa radicals from Berkeley. The whites are the loudest in protests involving blacks. Hell, even one white woman posed as a black and was in charge of a local NAACP.
And white liberal run Planned Parenthood aborts more black babies than all white on black crime many times over.
Yet the black leadership does everything the liberal Democrats say. Wow.

France and Spain just simply don't belong in this conversation at all. France ran what was, bar none, the absolute worst and most brutal slave colony in the Western hemisphere. They only quit slaving because they lost a war against the slaves. Spain and Portugal were, if even conceivable, worse than the French. Again, they only lost their slaves because they lost wars against rebels.

You mentioned the Romans and slavery not being mentioned, but I remember Russell Crowe kicking arse in Gladiator as a slave. And there's the Bible only the most read book in the world. I think slavery was mentioned in there a few times. Also, just because something no longer exists doesn't mean the effects are no longer seen or felt. And NO we are not responsible for what previous white men have done in the past, but it is our responsibility as a civilized society to progress and move forward. You missing the point it has never been about slavery that is just their means to an end. The race baiters and politicians that use race as a cover could really careless about the blacks in this country and you see proof of this almost daily. (Ex. Of course I am the type who do not see how Americans vote for the same political families either. Why would you vote for a Landrieu, Clinton, Bush? To much power to those families.

Who decides this? Nobody 200 years later knows exactly who was wronged more. Or do they all get the same payout?
The Romans had European slaves, you don't see me with my hand out every time I walk by a Dago.

It's disingenuous to act like black people only have grievances about slavery.
If ISIS did something like say, bombing a church in the US killing 4 little girls a lot of the population would justifiably want to go to war over that. They would tell their children about the evil Islamic terrorists.
On the other hand, we expect black people in this country to just get over it because "we fixed everything in the 60s." Hate to tell you, but that's rarely how human beings operate. Grudges are held for centuries if not millenia. Quite frankly we are lucky that things have progressed as much as they have, current friction notwithstanding.
We played stupid games and we are winning stupid prizes, as this board likes to say.
