Can Steve Harvey be racist?

If Ryan Seacrest had three young white kids on his NYE show and said "Three young white dudes singing better than any black people I know!", he would have been cut off the air in a flash.
But Steve Harvey had three young black kids singing on his Fox NYE show and he said "Three young black dudes singing better than any white people I know!"

I understand where you're coming from with that. Just remember though, it is a family show. Plus, he can say some pretty funny stuff off the top of his head when the time is right and have it be clean enough for all ages.
When he does standup, he's pretty funny. However, he's really toned it down the last 5 or 10 years. Between his daytime show and Family Feud, he's pretty much had to.

Given what Steve Harvey has done and said, I highly doubt he is racist. Save for Darden of course, Steve Harvey was OJ’s most vocal critic from the black community. If he was actually racist against white people, I don’t think he would have done this.

It would be funny if it wasn’t such an obvious setup every time. Like in that famous old video when the old lady answers “name something you wear to bed” with “condoms.” Now they force sexual answers every show.
