Funny thing, it’s kind of a running joke, but two of the three 10mm sockets are missing. Why is the 10mm always missing?
It’s like that at the hardware store. All the shite made overseas you have to put together uses a 10mm, my guess is people throw them into the woods in frustration of dealing with cheaply made shite.

You could also create a course and sell it.

Man…I have bought a 10mm socket for my set at least four times in 15 years.
I swear there’s a 10mm socket goblin running around.

Not sure why a company hasn’t started selling a 5 pack of 10mm sockets.

Turning $1 into all that shite is impressive by itself

We ended up not going (I got outvoted), so we went to Eliza’s in BR. It was the worst meal we ever had

I enjoy your threads.
But I cringed at your paying big dollars for the pair of inflatable ghosts. I hope you make a profit on them, but I live out in the country where every Halloween and Christmas, wind storms come through and flatten every inflatable that were thought to be such good ideas when they were bought.

They are not inflatables, they are blow molds (hard plastic). They sell for about $125 a pair on eBay. I’m gonna just sell them on FB marketplace because I don’t feel like shipping them.

Curious...How do you ship fragile items like this?
Bigger picture: How do you keep shipping & packing costs from eating into your profits by too much?

I get Farmer’s Dog pet food for my dog, and it comes in a nice box with foam sheet padding, that’s how I shipped the tanks.
As far as keeping shipping cost low, I do several things. Boxes are not so much the high cost, it’s bubble wrap. That shite is expensive. One thing I do, when I go to Walmart, there’s a bin at the front of the store where people have returned a ton of plastic bags. These make great padding and space filler, plus I like using it for packages going to California. I just know the person opening the package if freaking out because the package contains 20+ plastic bags.
As far as boxes go, Walmart has some great prices on shipping boxes (50¢-$1 each). Plus, I keep all Amazon/UPS boxes.
If the item is going to require me buying a bigger box, tube, etc, I’ll add $3-$4 handling fee, to cover it. I would say shipping cost is a wash, because some are over calculated, and some are under calculated.

Thank you!!!! As a California resident I love when people send grocery bags. I use them in my bathrooms and for scooping litter.

Are there zero plastic grocery bags in CA by law, or is it just a thing adopted? I know in New Mexico, you have to pay for plastic bags if you want them.
