You have to pay 10 cents a bag at Vons in Cali.
They are weird about plastic bags in Wyoming too.

As far as keeping shipping cost low, I do several things. Boxes are not so much the high cost, it’s bubble wrap. That shite is expensive.
Aren't you in NOLA? Go to someone like NOLA Box Supply and get a 20cu foot bag of peanuts. I'm sure there are many suppliers there. I've shipped tons of stuff...peanuts are fairly cheap and protect well.

I’m in BR area, but peanuts are not cheap. I get a large bag from “the box store” here for about $12. It lasts for a while until that one package that takes a 1/4 of the bag.

Seems like it would be easier to work 2 or 3 weeks at your job.

Amazon sells Air Pillow Machines so you can make your own bubble wrap. Maybe you can find one at a sale

Have you considered shopping at the Amazon return stores that are popping up? I've bought a few items that would probably sell on Ebay for profit.

There’s one in Baton Rouge. I went once, it was scary as shite.

I keep my money separate. I have my “real” money that I make at work.
I have my play money I make on eBay. I use this money to pay for vacations, toys, etc.
I bought $8000 in camera equipment, and my wife didn’t say a word because she knew it was eBay money.

Look up high end women's clothing and hit the thrift stores. I know several ladies that make a good bit of money as a side hustle by knowing the brands and putting them on Poshmark and eBay.

Where is Amazon Return store in BR?
Posted on 7/21/24 at 1:43 pm to theantiquetiger
By my math, roughly $1000 in stuff for sale currently, plus $120 cash That’s pretty impressive in about 2 months time.

On Sherwood. It’s called Black Friday Store or something. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I think what you do is awesome. I run a 24/7 silver cell so random pickups and friend sterling donation is fun.
But, question. Why Japan? Is there a backstory?
Posted on 7/21/24 at 2:09 pm to theantiquetiger
I think one of those has popped up here in Cenla.
People are always going in. I don’t get it.
No way in hell am I buying anything from there. I can think of so many ways that can frick me over.
Maybe I’m missing something.

Yep.
The spring time is when most people have garage sales, so him doing so well this time of the year is impressive

Both my daughters and I want to go for vacation. My wife, not so much, but she’s going

I’m not big on thrift stores. I’ll hit them from time to time, but not very often. It’s all about the hunt at garage sales and estate sales.
