No you aren't. Offering general platitudes and telling everyone what a big shot you were ain't helping shite.

No he's not.

You're nothing but a keyboard blowhard. Of what relevance is the condition of YOUR truck? None at all... But you're "trying to help"

What a joke you are.

I don't know if I agree.

I do know that if someone grew up with lead paint in their house, I'm not interested in their take on this, or anything else.

There's an uncanny correlation between growing up in a home with lead paint and having belligerent shitty opinions about everything.

This right here. Are you really trying to help, or doing whatever it takes to get someone to give you the answer you want? I get it. You want me to say that I’m lazy, pay people to cut my grass, and I blow my money by eating out, gaming, and buying fancy polos and other shite.

If it makes you feel better, believe all of that…but you’d be wrong.

There was a recession in 1982 so a lot of what Reagan gets credit for was just recession recovery. The national debut exploded under Reagan. And Deregulation.

Reagan's economic success was overhyped.

After his last post, you’re right. Thought he was. Won’t even let me help him with his truck not sounding right. I’m a pretty good mechanic as well. But got ignored and berated.

People keep telling me “no good deed goes unpunished” but I keep trying to help anyway.

Yeah, (D) had congressional control for 99% of 70 years. Reagan is the problem. Newt rescued Clinton. (R) shite the bed immediately. Blame congress, which you assholes voted for. They spend money.

Bruh, I couldn't even vote back then. And my party affiliation is officially "No Party Affiliation" so I don't know who you mean when you say "you assholes".

So you are saying Reagan was not a successful president? Because he was limited by congress?

For a hard working and tough guy like yourself to think that we berating you?

I questioned your motives and am calling this as it is. Is this where I quote you and say you just have a problem with my delivery, and that’s your issue? Or is this where I drum up something along the lines of you not wanting to hear it, but I’m right?

Dude…I’m not some 23 year old entering the workforce. I’m no spring chicken. I hate to agree with Oweo, but age doesn’t automatically bring about wisdom. Wisdom is about learning from those life experiences.

Generally means everyone that now pays attention but probably voted for dumb shite when they were 20 cause it sounded good or their parents told them to. There's another thread where a couple of oxygen thieves think that parents should get 1/2 a vote for each kid they have until they turn 18.

Both sides voted for more, and more, and more government in everything, and then act shocked when the leviathan does something they don't like.

Reagan did the best he could, and kept nuclear fire from raining down upon us (I was within 10m of a USN base my entire childhood). Congress (HR) spends the money, not the senate or the executive. Executive may not veto a bill, but ultimately the executive doesn't have control.

I know what Reagan was dealing with, and he wasn't a bad president. But OP's attempt to paint congressional decisions and votes as presidential issues is more my point of contention. The floor is totally open to traitorous executive decisions, such as pallets of cash to Iran, which killed thousands of American GIs.

Sound advice.

This tells me you didn’t read into much of what I posted.

Three points:

1). “Ask me anything” wasn’t directed to you.
2). No and only slightly curious why you are asking me this.
3). I will direct this to you: Why don’t you get off my dick?
