When I say they are like my sisters... I mean. In the 8 years we have been friends, we have never once talked about the people we have hooked up with... the subject of sex has not once come up. She could be a lesbian and I wouldnt have known

I have a few girl friends that I look at and treat like my sisters. We were friends before we were all married (I was dating my wife when I met them but they were single). Their husbands are now some of my closest friends as well. Never any tension, as we were more kindred spirits than compatible mates.
I think the belief that opposite sex friends can't be just friends is a little childish.

I dated one girl about 3 years ago. Great girl, but after a few dates, we knew we weren't right for a long term relationship.
So she throws out the idea... How about if we just hang out and have sex when we feel like it. Can you handle that ?
Geez... Yeah I think I might be able to handle that.
So that went on for about a year. One of us would call up the other, we would hang out and enjoy each others company, and 9/10 we would get our groove on. The no strings attached sex was amazing. We were just really good friends that had sex. Nothing more.
After about a year, she met a guy and decided that she wanted to date him. We stopped doing our thing. Now she is married to the guy and she and I are still best friends.
I am probably the exception though.

I have a bunch of friends that are girls. Probably banged half of them. As long as they aren't nasty, and put it out, I'll hook up with them if the time arises
