Texas is "ok" for water.

California has one of the worst Meth problems I have seen in any state I have traveled to.
I'm only missing Maine, north dakota, south dakota, and Minnesota.
The state has serious issues and is slowly pricing out all of their small business owners with environmental restrictions which aren't effective.

It's a fact that Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi rank in the bottom 10% in poverty rate and education. Include Alabama and you have 4 states in the bottom 10% of the US economy

Add all those states up and the costs of social programs are miniscule to that of just southern California.

Those states give nothing back to the US. Of course the State with more people will have more people on social programs. But I'm pretty sure Louisiana and Mississippi have a higher percentage of folks on welfare programs.

look at it this way, the state may have a shot to succeed and be profitable, but you really think that state wouldn't implode with the current social issues? you would be over run with immigrants in under 5 years.
