Doing the Lord's work, IMO

quote:

The then-17-year-old boy was armed with two things: his BB gun and a list of local registered sex offenders, available through a public statewide database that tracks them, according to authorities.

quote:

The teen proceeded to travel around town, accosting and threatening people convicted of sex crimes, and occasionally shooting at them with the BB gun. On March 15, he was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a weapon and assault with a firearm, according to police and court records.

...........but then got busted for selling gummies

quote:

Then came a strange twist: just two months after his arrest, they raided his Walnut Creek home in a new investigation involving alleged marijuana sales to high school students. That case started last April, when girl who attends Los Lomas High School accidentally ingested a significant cannabis dose when another student gave her a sandwich but failed to inform her it was laced with the drug, authorities said.

The girl was hospitalized but later medically cleared. Police and school officials investigated and identified the same teen — who turned 18 this week — as her suspected drug dealer. Authorities say they recovered Instagram messages where he offered marijuana and mushrooms to several other teenagers and discussed bulk discounts.

Can someone give that young man a proper weapon?

Just a hunch…jet setter parents, unsupervised kid, lost. Dime a dozen families of this ‘lifestyle’ in that neck of (Red)woods.

The thing about these people that do this, like the youtubers that go full To Catch a Predator and then beat the frick out of dudes in Walmart, is that they dont ACTUALLY care. Its not about justice or some moral calling.

They are using it as cover for being violent people.

It puts others in a weird spot for "defending" creeps, but its simply a judgement of them, not the creeps.

Is it righteous or about justice? No
Do I care that some creep is getting beat up in a Walmart? Also no

Now what this kid did was different than that. Kid was in the wrong.

I forgot. Internet clicks are the greatest motivation of the current crop of teens.

Creep arranges to meet at Wal Mart. "I'll be wearing a green and white shirt."

Bayou_Tiger_225 happens to show up at the same time also wearing a green and white shirt and gets jumped.

Trained law enforcement gets it wrong a significant portion of the time. That's why we have courts to sort it out. We're expecting some guys with a youtube channel to get it right?

Wouldn't shock me if the California police pinned the marijuana charges on him to end his cause

They run a tight ship here in Contra Costa County. They don’t allow open drug use, homeless to camp on the street, and they aren’t gonna allow some random 17year old kid running around town with a BB gun shooting at people. Even if he says they were sex offenders.
