You hate to hear it. We've all heard of road rage so I guess charging station street fights will be next.

Just over 72% of the plugs were still functional, according to the report. However, nearly 23% were either unresponsive, had issues with screens, payment system failures, charge initiation failures, network failures, or broken plugs, according to the study.

At another 4.9% of stations, the charging cable was too short, according to the data.

A random evaluation of 10% of the charging plugs more than a week later also "demonstrated no overall change in functionality," according to the study.

"In order to achieve a rapid transition to electric vehicle driving, a highly reliable and easy to use charging infrastructure is critical to building confidence as consumers shift from using familiar gas vehicles to unfamiliar electric vehicles," the study said.

Rempel told The San Francisco Chronicle that for some sites, you have to call a 1-800 number for help, which can add another 10 to 20 minutes to the process.

"That shouldn’t be the case," he said.

Just strap rickshaws to the homeless. Problem solved.

Does CA run out of water or electricity first?

There are multiple chargers at each station, were the other chargers being used and so you couldn't just pull up to the next one? This is what the study should tell us.

AOC is pushing the green agenda, and threatened Dementia Joe into a lot of the stew pit moves he has made.

She was informed that there was not enough electricity to run all of those charging stations, and asked what she suggested, "Just plug them into the wall", she belched.

OT should go in on a Sonic franchise at the charging station.

Was always going to be impossible

Even more so now that we're giving Ukraine tax dollars from a generation that hasn't even been born

Figured it was supply chain issues but it seems a lot more gas pumps than normal have bags over them these days.
