Not as bad as picking up underwear from a goodwill or garage sale

Somewhere between cutting grass at 6:00am and truck nuts.

I buy used baseball uniforms for my kids on eBay. Save so much money. Spend it on 5 gallon buckets of sunflower seeds.

If you're cool with someone else's cum-stained shirt, go for it.

The poor should be buying the wealthy's hand me downs. Otherwise they will vote and tax your arse for some new shite that's better than yours.

About the same as buying shite from Goodwill.

Nobody gives a shite where you buy your clothes.

If you REALLY know your measurements and fits you can pick up some high end stuff for cheap.
I wouldn't do it for anything that is gonna be a staple (like everyday suits), but I got a nice Hickey suit for a summer wedding and a perfect Canali jacket for like 200 bucks once (in a seasonal color).
I wouldn't do it as a standard practice, but for the odd thing it can work well if you get lucky.

I ran a homeless shelter in Louisville Kentucky many years ago. The donations for women were so nice. Many things still had the tags on them.
Donations for the men were horribly worn out as one would expect. I swear if a guy donated some underwear it was his wife that brought them in and the underwear were nothing but an elastic waistband.

If you can't afford new clothes...no it's smart
If you can but are cheap...stop being cheap and buy new clothes

I used to buy some nice clothes for my son when he was growing super fast and outgrowing clothes in 6 months.
I also bought an awesome Ralph Lauren suit for his homecoming that he wore once and quickly outgrew,
