Yeah, but that is like commending a mom on being there for her children after giving up a few for adoption.
Dude is whack. He just makes obvious suggestions that are impossible to follow and have any real quality of life. I would rather live responsibly and have a little debt than let it dictate my entire life.

I can only relay my experience. Mine has increased significantly since we have removed the mortgage. Forgot the exact numbers, but I think it went from 730's to 810's. There was one other small debt paid off as well

I'd guess the high number of single parent home's, coupled with low income and shitty credit would have a factor in this.

I'm a young black male and this happened to me two weeks ago.
I went to visit an nice apartment complex on a Saturday afternoon. I called the previous day and scheduled an appt. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk immediately asked me to leave. When I told her I made an appt she told me I was wrong without even checking and told me they were closed even though there was one white couple and one asian couple in the lobby waiting. As I walked out, I checked the hours I saw they were open another two hours.
What does the OT think of this incident. I didn't confront her and decided to just look elsewhere for a new apartment. I couldn't help but wonder if I would have been kicked out if a I wasn't black.

i've dealt with plenty of douchebags and bitches before and have felt slighted in all sorts of contexts.

I mean, thats ridiculous. I would have let the person you made the appointment with know at the very least.
